Nigerian Prisoners' Daily Feeding Allowance Is N3:50k

It has been revealed that a Nigerian prisoner daily feeding allowance is N3:50k as approved by the government. Infact it was previously N2:10k before it was now increased by the new Comptroller-General of prisons.

There are about 56,000 inmates scattered in Nigerian prisons. A lot of prisoners would have been dying on a daily occurrence if not for the philanthropic donations by religious and charity organisations, which has helped improve the welfare of the inmates.
