Vin Diesel Named His Daughter After Paul Walker

Vin Diesel appeared on Monday morning’s “Today” show to reveal that the name of his recently born third child with Paloma Jiminez was a tribute to Paul Walker. “I named her Pauline,” Diesel said of his daughter, whose birth was announced March 16.


Walker, who co-starred with Diesel in the “Fast and Furious” franchise, died in a single-car accident November 30, 2013.

Diesel said he felt Walker’s presence at Pauline’s birth.

“He was in the room,” Diesel recalled. “There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just … knew he was there.”
