As at the point of publishing this post, I'm so sad, my head is aching and I also feel like quitting blogging.
No doubt, I am glad and excited that I own a blog which is read by thousands of people all over the world daily but at the same time I am not happy because I don't even get to see about five to ten comments on a post and it's really heart breaking.
The fact that people don't drop comments doesn't mean the blog is not growing ( Because a lot of anonymous people drop insultive comments telling me that my blog is dead) the comments gets to me but i really don't care because if there is anything I have learnt these past years of been a blogger is how to be able to withstand critics because one thing I know for sure is that my blog is growing because my page views is quite impressive compared to when I started.
I've been disturbing my head and brain to figure out what I'm doing wrong because one thing I'm certain about is that I try as much as possible to always deliver news to my readers as fast as possible and most of which I coin with my own words.
I even go as far as impressing my readers with giveaway but I notice that after the give away time most people who even emerge as winners don't visit or comment on the blog anymore except very few ones, so I took a break from giveaways moreover, I'm not too buoyant to organise something big so I decided to take a break from it a little.
I know this sounds weird because I'm begging for comments but please, I will appreciate if you all make out time and try to drop a comment or two whenever you visit my blog because blog comments make me believe you all are enjoying what I do and you all know that no man is an island, so I will appreciate you advice me on anything you think I'm doing wrong so I can take note and amend my ways.

I don't think there's anything u're doing wrong Niyi, don't give up yet, your best days are still ahead, maybe u should share share the link to ur blog amongst ur family and close friends and ask them to comment, I feel pple tend to comment when there's already a comment...I hope to see your blog on the list of top bloggers very soon, cheer up!

Do not despise days of little beggining. keep posting and soon you'll be celebrated. criticisms make one try more in whatever one does, so dont frown and critics. let them say.

ReplyDeleteDon't worry with time people will start to comment. Don't compare yourself with those big blogs they started like you, I advise you spice it up more engage your readers,disturb your contacts to comment. Some of them don't know how to comment, so you must teach them.
