The former Chairman, Senate Committee on Education, Senator Uche Chukwumerije has died after battling lung cancer.
The one time information minister under the Babangida regime is said to have passed on today at a Turkish hospital in Abuja..Until his demise, he was a representing Abia North Senatorial District under the PDP platform^..
