Gov Uduaghan Splashes $10,000 On Helen Paul

Popular comedienne, Helen Paul, has received a
$10,000 cash gift from Delta State Governor,
Emmanuel Uduaghan.

The Governor gave the money to Helen in support of her Ph.D Research, which she is likely to embark on abroad.

Uduaghan, who heard of Helen’s Ph.D Program at the University of Lagos, was said to have been impressed with her penchant for education, and he voluntarily made the financial support.

Helen Paul is currently rounding off her Ph.D program at the university. She is studying Theatre Arts.

Late last year, she opened a film and theatre school in Lagos, and in March this year, she held the inaugural initiation/matriculation ceremony for students of her Helen Paul Theatre and Film Academy, HPTFA.


The ceremony, held at the institution’s Lagos campus was attended by Bayo Bankole (Boy Alinco), Segun Adefila, Alhaji Hakeem Olatunji Balogun (Olasco Films boss), Chief Femi Jolayemi (Omega Films boss), Alhaji Toyin Uthman (Toymax Films boss) and Adewale Adesina (Times Pictures) among others.

During the event, an honorary award was presented to Helen by the Theatre-Arts students of the Lagos State University, LASU.

Helen Paul, popularly known as ‘Tatafo’, who host the popular Jara TV show got married to her husband, Femi Bamisile in 2010 and they have two sons. She is best known for her style of being quirky and spontaneous, and her voice range that makes her sound like a child.
