Dani Alves has turned down a move to Manchester United and signed a new deal to stay at Barcelona until 2017.
The Brazilian international’s future
had been the source of much speculation recently, with his contract
having been set to expire at the end of the month and negotiations
between he and the European champions having reached stalemate.
According to Mirror Uk just three
days after winning his third Champions League Trophy with the Blaugrana,
the 32-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a new contract.
"FC Barcelona has announced that
Dani Alves has accepted its proposal for the renewal of his contract,
which expires on June 30 of this year."
"The new agreement binding both
parties will be for a further two seasons, through to 30 June 2017, with
the option of a third additional season.
