It's an early season break for Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor who has jetted to a holiday
spot in France after being released by Tottenham.
The 31-year-old had been training with Tottehmen youth team after coach Mauricio Pochettino informed him that he was not in his plans for the new season.
The Togolese striker was told to find a new club in the transfer window but demanded that Spurs pay him the full £5million left on his contract.
Tottehman however revealed through a statement that the striker's contract has been
terminated by mutual consent.
The former Arsenal striker took to Twitter to announce that he has ended his association with Spurs.
" I can confirm that I have reached an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur to terminate my contract ,"
Adebayor tweeted.
When West Ham came calling for his signature, he was looking down on them thinking that Wenger will recall him or that Spurs will extend his contract, now he knows better!Go look for third tier league in France or go and beg your family!
