ISIS Terrorist Group Begins Recruitment In Ghana

They have reached Ghana. A human right organisation, Global Risk Insights, today raised an alert that ISIS terrorist group has started recruiting youths in Ghana.
The study says potential recruits are enticed by Islamic State’s promise of a “lavish lifestyle in Syria and Iraq’’ and better living conditions for family left behind.
It attributed the success to unemployment which remained high in Ghana, especially among the youths as one of the reasons they easily penetrated.
The group sighted the example of Mohammed Alema, 25, a Geography undergraduate at Kwame Nkrumah University, who made news recently when he disappeared from home in Ghana to join ISIS.
