Manchester United defender Luke Shaw posts injury update after horror leg break

The England fullback suffered a double fracture in the Red Devils' Champions League defeat to PSV Eindhoven earlier this month

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has taken to his official Facebook page to post an injury update to his fans.
The England fullback suffered a double fracture in the Red Devils' Champions League defeat to PSV Eindhoven earlier this month.
Shaw was clattered into by a strong challenge from Hector Moreno, deemed not to be a foul by the referee on the evening.
Moreno went on to score in the match, as the Dutch outfit condemned United to the worst possible start on their return to Europe's top table.

Shaw is set to miss the rest of the season, and the European Championships next summer, but is already on the road to recovery.
He posted a picture of himself shirtless, on his crutches, with his right leg heavily bandaged.
Shaw captioned: "Long road ahead but so happy to be able to put weight on my leg again!"
The left-back will have been buoyed by the display of his team-mates at Old Trafford on Saturday, after they comfortably beat Sunderland 3-0.
