Stoke City manager, Mark Hughes, has revealed that Osaze Odemwingie has resumed training after an injury lay-off.
Speaking at Thursday’s press conference ahead of Saturday’s clash against Arsenal at the Emirates, Hughes however stated that the Nigeria forward will not be rushed back to action.
“Peter is back amongst the group and has looked really bright to be honest, but we feel that he may well be best served playing in the U-21 fixture at the weekend.
” Whilst he is progressing and getting closer, he is still short of match fitness so hopefully
the game on Saturday (U-21 game) will help push him on,” Hughes said.
