U 23 Eagles Miss $ 5000 Bait By Ex - International

Nigeria U-23 national football team otherwise known as Dream Team, on Tuesday blew the chance of pocketing extra cash promised
them by a former Super Eagles player.
The ex-international who did not want his name mentioned in print had walked up to the team’s dressing room at half time when
they were trailing by a lone goal and
promised to personally hand them a cash reward of $5,000 there at the Massamba Debat Stadium if they defeated the Burkinabes in the semi final of the All Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville.
The one time defunct Udoji United and Enugu Rangers forward was disappointed with the manner of football administration in
Nigeria.
“I arrived here in Congo on Monday and this (Tuesday) morning I visited the team at their camp.
“What I saw was a team in low spirit,” the ex-international who revealed he gave the team some money, undisclosed amount, in their camp said.
Unfortunately, the team was unable to go past the Young Stallions of Burkina Faso in the match, and the Former Nigeria player didn’t part with his $5,000.
