Police Invites Wasiu Ayinde Over The Shooting Of 21-Year Old Female Undergraduate

The police in Ogun State are set to question popular fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde over the shooting of Kofowora Azeez, an undergraduate of the department of Business Education, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye.

Kofowora was said to have been hit by a bullet allegedly released by the musician’s bodyguard during a party at about 1:00 a.m on Saturday.

It was learnt that the 21-year old victim was in a car beside Nasfat building opposite Limelite Hotel when the bullet pierced her buttock. She is currently receiving treatment at the General Hospital, Ijebu-Ode, while the shooter is said to have absconded.

The owner of the hotel, Sesan Rufai, has been invited to the police station, questioned and granted bail. The Ogun Police command has however said, Wasiu will also be questioned and he will be made to produce the suspect.
