Daniel Owohor Aghor replaces Udoma Udo Udoma as UAC Chairman

UAC of Nigeria, one of Nigeria’s manufacturing and trading conglomerates, has announced the reconstitution of its board with the appointment of Daniel Owohor Aghor as chairman.
Mr. Aghor was appointed to replace Udoma Udo Udoma, recently appointed Minister of Budget and National Planning.

The company also appointed Okechukwu John Mbonu as a non-executive director to fill one of the two vacant positions on the board.
Mr. Mbonu, a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), former director of Nigerian Breweries and current director of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Nigeria Limited, replaced Okechukwu Enelamah, who was also appointed Minister of Trade, Investments and Industry.

UAC of Nigeria in its letter to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), said the appointments start from November 12.

The letter signed by Godwin Samuel, UAC of Nigeria Company Secretary, also said that the appointments were in pursuant to the listing requirements of the NSE.
