French police official says at least 140 people have been killed inside Paris during the Friday 13th terrorist attack, and a state of emergency has been declared across France with its borders closed to prevent the attackers from fleeing.

The attack is thought to be the deadliest in France since WWII, with shootings taking place in a number of locations around the capital, including at least two restaurants and the Bataclan concert hall, and reportedly suicide attacks and bombings in other locations
