President Buhari, Folorunsho Alakija, Linda Ikeji & Others emerges winners In Giovanna 2015 Honourary Awards

Giovanna Magazine, Nigeria’s leading lifestyle and Entrepreneurship magazine with its base in the United States of America and United Kingdom respectively has announced the Nigeria’s incumbent President, President Muhammadu Buhari, Executive Vice-Chairman Famfa Oil Ltd “Folorunsho Alakija”, Classic Man crooner “Jidenna”, Bimpe Onakoya and Linda Ikeji amongst others as winners of its inaugural Giovanna Magazine honorary awards 2015 edition.

While President Muhammadu Buhari meritoriously emerged Giovanna Man of the year, Business tycoon, Folorunsho Alakija was named the Woman of the year and Globacom Nigeria Limited emerging the Brand of The Year 2015 and Most Customer Friendly Brand of The Year 2015 respectively. Popular blogger and Ex Model, Linda Ikeji no doubt enjoyed a great year and so was named Most Promising Entrepreneur of The Year and Nigerian - American artiste, the Classic Man crooner, Jidenna was announced Revelation of The Year 2015 amongst other categories.

Giovanna Honorary awards is established to recognize and honour the several personalities and brands that have made a real impact to people's lives, whether as unsung heroes or household names.
The award, which is aimed to celebrate the truly inspirational and courageous heroes in the Nigerian economy and communities, those who have all made a difference to lives. It also recognized corporate organizations for its effort and contributions towards the growth of the Nigerian community, and economy and as well as for serving key effects to an average Nigerian Youths, and entrepreneurs through sponsor, ambassadorship and life enriching programs in the calendar year 2015.

President Muhammadui Buhari no doubt represents hope, life and integrity. He has been declared Giovanna Magazine’s Man Of The Year 2015, for his undying spirit and steadfastness! From being named the richest woman in Nigeria by Forbes and also listed as the 2nd most powerful woman in Africa after Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala and the 87th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes to being named 13th richest in Africa.

She has been awarded Giovanna Honorary award as Woman Of The Year for her immense courage and resilience in saving thousands of lives in her humanitarian foundation “The Rose Of Sharon Foundation” and for contributing hugely to the growth of Nigerian economy and social development despite her zero or low political profile.

She however put aside stiff competitions from other great women including Aruma Oteh, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Amina J Mohammed and Dr Obi Ezekwesili to bag Giovanna Honorary award for Woman Of The Year 2015.
