Coincidentally, superstar actresses Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde recently showed their interpretations of the cape trend.

Omotola wore a camel-hued cape jacket paired with a pink skirt and blush top for the final closing ceremony of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Genevieve wore a chic black and white modern shirt set with a caped jacket for a reception with IMF boss Christine Lagarde.
