Kanye West's 'the life of Pablo' gets illegally downloaded 500,000times...

From the shaderoom:
Between the volleying of album names, and anticipated release dates for the now titled, The Life of Pablo, he has definitely been violating feelings out here.
Although Kanye announced not too long after T.L.O.P released exclusively though Tidal, that he was pushing album sales back another week and then reneged on the statement saying the album will never be for sale, Tidal-less fans have found their way around the uncertainty of album availability.
Kanye was pushing for fans to subscribe to Tidal and so it made sense to hold back sales another week. However there are those fans who just aren’t that motivated to hear the album. Those are the people responsible for the 500,000 illegal downloads!
The BBC broke the news about the high volume of piracy; and although the numbers aren’t record breaking, Torrent Freak’s founder told BBC, “I haven’t seen numbers this high before for a music release — not with Adele, either.” If y’all remember, Adele’s album sold over 3.3 million copies within Its first week!
Data results reveal that T.L.O.P is currently one of the most popular downloads on Pirate Bay, the most prominent torrenting site and the RIAA has submitted nearly 20 takedown requests. The requests are reported as “insufficient.”
“It is largely useless in the current world where illegal links that are taken down reappear instantaneously,” the RIAA chief executive said in a statement last year.
So what does this mean for Kanye? That fans are going to hear the album regardless of if he releases it anywhere besides Tidal or not –even if it’s illegal. It can be a bittersweet reality.
