African star Pearl Thusi and Nigerian musician D'Banj will host 'Lip
Sync Battle Africa', which premieres on MTV (DStv 130), MTV Base (DStv
322) and e.tv next month. Thusi will serve as the all round host and
master of ceremonies, while D'Banj will step up as the 'colour
commentator'
The pair were named the local hosts of the international entertainment show Lip Sync Battle Africa.
Like the US version, the local rendition pits two celebrities against
each other as they lip-sync a song of their choice for a live studio
audience.
