Former Lagos State deputy governor, Chief Rafiu Bakare Jafojo, who
governed with Lateef Jakande, between 1993-1998 during the Sani Abacha
regime died yesterday April 23rd. He was 80. Chief Jafojo died after a
brief illness. He will be buried today according to Islamic rites. May
his soul rest in peace, amen.
