Serena Williams snubs fiance after Australia Open win (photos/video)

Serena Williams appeared to have ignored her fiance, Alexis Ohanian, after beating her sister, Venus, in the Australian Open to take out her 23rd singles grand slam title.

As she walked off the court, the 35 year old tennis great clutched her new trophy when she walked towards Mr Ohanian and U.S. supermodel Karlie Kloss., pictured above.

The tennis star briefly stopped to speak to Kloss and give her a hug, but barely acknowledged her 33-year-old multimillionaire American husband-to-be.
After the hug, Serena continued speaking with the model as Mr Ohanian, a tech entrepreneur and
bestselling author, stands next to her.

But instead of turning her attention to her fiance, Serena walks past him and starts greeting other people gathered in the room to congratulate her.

Mr Ohanian looks at his fiancee as she walks away and then goes back to chatting to Kloss. Watch the video below.
To make matters more awkward for Mr Ohanian, in Serena's two-minute and 20 second victory speech, she failed to mention her fiancé who stood on the dais with Williams' entourage.

He nodded awkwardly as she thanked her coach, her family and even the director of the Australian Open.
Serena revealed she was engaged to 32 year old Alexis late last month in a Reddit post titled: 'I said yes.' Since then, he has been travelling with his sporting star fiancee as she toured the tennis circuit in New Zealand and Australia in sweltering summer heat.

The couple are believed to have been dating since October 2015.
